Kevin DeRaaf, Lead PastorI have served at Faith since 1999 and it is wonderful to be part of this growing community. My passion is to see people encounter the love of Jesus and learn how to let Him lead in every part of their lives. I am committed to helping us explore the Bible and listen for how God is inviting us to bring hope and compassion to the people in our lives and to our city. Peter Janssens, Pastor of Discipleship & OutreachI joined Faith Church in July 2011. Every day I get to work with great people to ensure that we are doing two things as a church: First, that we are growing deeper in love with God, each other and our neighbours. And second, that we are practically living out that love wherever God places us -- home, school, work, the arts, sports, the marketplace. I believe that Jesus did not command the world to go to church; he commanded the church to go into the world with love. Laura Hess, Administrative AssistantI started my role as Administrative Assistant here at Faith church in June of 2002.It continues to be both a joy and a privilege working here! Please give me a call or send me an email if you have questions about a variety of things: donations, receipts, family info, church bookings, bulletin announcements, council, pastors, mailboxes and other things administrative and church related.I’m in the church office Tuesday to Friday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and if I can’t answer your questions I’ll do my best to find out who can. Leanne DeWeerd, Connections CoordinatorI began my role here at Faith Church in the spring of 2011. My desire is to see that every member of our church community feels connected and loved. I'm here to help people connect with others in formal and informal ways, whether that means placing people within a Home Church group or helping them find ways to use their gifts and talents to serve God here among our members or out in the broader community. Andrea Huisman, Children's Ministries CoordinatorI’ve been on staff at Faith since 2007 (with a few maternity leaves in between) and for the last little while have held the exciting job of coordinating our Children’s Ministries. Denise Dykstra, Youth & Young Adult Ministries CoordinatorI'm Denise Dykstra. I started at Faith in 2011 as Child and Youth Ministries Coordinator. In 2012 I became the Youth & Young Adult Ministries Coordinator. In order for our youth to grow and mature in their faith, they need to be connected to leaders that are passionate about teaching and mentoring them in their faith journey. Marian Lensink, Worship CoordinatorI have been leading worship together with a team for many years at Faith. I have always had a passion for worship and for leading a congregation that is seeking to know Jesus and worship Him. I love to lead the worship team with its variety of gifted musicians. While music is a great tool, worship can also involve so much more from creative arts to drama to just being quiet before the Lord. I welcome continued dialogue with others as we go deeper to the heart of God in our worship of Him. Geraldine Regeling, CustodianI started as Custodian in 2003. I enjoy keeping the church facility clean and organized.
