Together on a Journey

We're a community of ordinary people on an extraordinary journey together. We live in a culture where people are lonely and more isolated than ever. But we know that we don't have to go it alone. We are the body of Christ, called to be his hands and feet -- called to love, support, care, encourage, and sometimes just listen. It isn’t always easy and things aren't always perfect. But God loves each of us as we are, and he wants to shape and use each one of us in amazing ways.

Our Vision

We believe that developing at a disciple of Jesus is a life-long journey. Together we:

  • Pursue Spiritual Transformation
    We seek to grow as apprentices of Christ, devoted to discipleship, stewardship and spiritual growth.

  • Offer Inspiring Worship to God
    We meet every Sunday to offer up our prayers and praise to God and receive His renewing strength through the gift of His Spirit. Each service includes strong Biblical teaching.

  • Build Loving Relationships
    Together we establish relationships that reflect Christ Himself, building connections with those in our church and neighbourhoods.

  • Use our Gifts for Ministry
    We strive to identify our talents and gifts and use them with eagerness among people and situations that will be blessed by the generosity shown.

  • Engage in Need-Oriented Mission
    Using the passion given to us, we seek to actively engage with our community and meet real needs. Our goal is to demonstrate God’s love in all situations.

Our History

Faith Church was formed in 1984 when 60 families from New Street Christian Reformed Church decided to start a new congregation. The Lord has blessed the ministry of Faith over the years and the church has grown significantly. We celebrated our twenty fifth anniversary in the spring of 2009 and currently have approximately 200 families.

Faith church has numerous programs aimed at engaging church members and nurturing their relationship with God and his people. These programs include Children’s Worship and Church School and a variety of programs for tweens, teens and young adults. They also include a women’s ministry called Coffee Break and a prayer ministry.

Faith is also involved in several outreach activities. At Faith, we are continually exploring ways to more actively engage with our immediate community. We are also partnered with missionaries and organizations around the world. And Faith has an on-going partnership with the Nehemiah Center in Nicaragua. As part of that partnership, we have sent numerous teams to Nicaragua on short-term mission trips. We continue to be blessed and inspired by our fellow Nicaraguan Christians.

Faith Church is a congregation of the Christian Reformed Church in North America. We are an increasingly diverse community and we welcome people from all cultures and traditions.
