What exactly is a
"Home Church"?
A small group [Home Church] is an intentional gathering of people, meeting regularly for the purpose of joining in God's mission.
(Based on CRHM’s definition -http://www.crhm.org)
Home Church Life at Faith
Groups require an eight-week commitment and are comprised of 8-12 people that meet in each other's homes or in another designated place. They meet weekly to CONNECT (support each other), GROW (study God's word) and SERVE (find ways to reach out to the community). While many groups are sermon-based, some are special interest groups focusing on topics such as discipleship, marriage, and parenting.
There are three 8 week sessions throughout the year beginning in late September through June with breaks inbetween and during the summer months. During the breaks we take time out to celebrate the amazing things God is doing in our Home Church groups with a special celebration service held on a Sunday evening.
Hebrews 10: 24-25
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the day approaching.”
